THE ROLE
The Appointment
LIFEGUARD is seeking a discreet, disciplined and highly reliable Supervisory Security Officer for a non-uniformed security position at a private property in Vienna, Austria.
The position is suited to an individual with prior military, law-enforcement or professional security experience who is capable of maintaining a calm, discreet and highly professional protective presence in a private environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day security arrangements, coordinating security staff and service providers, maintaining situational awareness and ensuring that the property remains protected, orderly and properly monitored at all times.

Responsibilites
- Supervising non-uniformed security and protective-support arrangements at a private property
- Maintaining a discreet, professional and non-intrusive security presence
- Overseeing access-control, visitor-management and arrival/departure procedures
- Coordinating with approved security personnel, household staff, service providers and external contractors
- Conducting regular property, perimeter and situational checks
- Identifying and reporting relevant safety, security or operational concerns
- Ensuring that agreed security procedures are followed consistently
- Supporting incident reporting, escalation procedures and emergency preparedness
- Maintaining appropriate logs, records and handover notes where required
- Assisting with the preparation of the property for visits, events or sensitive movements
- Ensuring that security areas, vehicles, equipment and working spaces are kept orderly, clean and operationally ready
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the property, residents, visitors, routines and security arrangements
- Carrying out security-sensitive duties only as authorised, trained, licensed and legally permitted
Candiate Profile
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Prior military, law-enforcement or professional security experience
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in a security-related environment
- A disciplined, calm and reliable manner
- Strong situational awareness and sound judgement
- Excellent standards of personal presentation, discretion and punctuality
- A high sense of order, cleanliness and attention to detail
- The ability to operate confidently in a private, confidential and high-trust environment
- Professional restraint and the ability to remain composed under pressure
- Good communication skills and appropriate manners
- The ability to coordinate discreetly with staff, contractors, visitors and service providers
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends or short-notice assignments
- Good spoken and written English
- German language capability is strongly preferred
- A valid driving licence is required
Eligibility & Security Vetting
Due to the sensitive nature of the appointment, all shortlisted candidates will be subject to background and security screening, including review by relevant law-enforcement and security authorities where required and legally permissible.
Candidates must be able to meet all employment, vetting, licensing, training and legal-eligibility requirements applicable to the assignment.
