THE ROLE
The Appointment
LIFEGUARD is seeking a discreet, highly disciplined and professionally experienced Command Pilot with a valid Airbus H145 type rating to support private, institutional and mission-related helicopter operations.
The position is suited to an experienced pilot-in-command with excellent judgement, calm operational discipline and the ability to operate confidently in sensitive, high-trust and occasionally time-critical environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safe flight operations, operational readiness, flight planning, crew coordination and the professional execution of helicopter movements for authorised principals, institutional clients or mission-related personnel.

Responsibilites
- Acting as pilot-in-command for Airbus H145 helicopter operations
- Ensuring safe, lawful and professional conduct of all assigned flights
- Supporting private, institutional, medical-support, mission-related or special-purpose aviation tasks as required
- Conducting flight planning, weather assessment, route evaluation and operational-risk review
- Ensuring aircraft readiness in coordination with maintenance, ground-support and operational teams
- Supervising pre-flight and post-flight procedures
- Maintaining accurate flight, duty, operational and technical documentation where required
- Coordinating appropriately with air-traffic services, aviation authorities, ground handlers, maintenance providers and operational counterparts
- Maintaining strict confidentiality concerning principals, passengers, destinations, schedules and operational arrangements
- Supporting safety management, incident reporting and operational-readiness procedures
- Exercising professional judgement in relation to weather, security, passenger safety and mission feasibility
- Carrying out aviation duties only as authorised, licensed, medically certified and legally permitted
Candiate Profile
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Valid helicopter pilot licence appropriate to the role
- Valid Airbus H145 type rating
- Substantial experience as pilot-in-command
- Strong command judgement and operational discipline
- Excellent understanding of flight safety, risk assessment and crew coordination
- Experience in private aviation, government, emergency services, military, law-enforcement, HEMS, VIP or mission aviation strongly preferred
- Calm and composed manner under pressure
- Excellent standards of personal presentation, discretion and punctuality
- Strong sense of order, documentation discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to operate confidently in confidential, protocol-sensitive and high-trust environments
- Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional short-notice assignments, weekends or irregular operating hours
- German language capability is strongly preferred
- Additional European languages are an advantage
Eligibility & Security Vetting
Due to the sensitive nature of the appointment, all shortlisted candidates will be subject to background and security screening, including review by relevant law-enforcement and security authorities where required and legally permissible.
Candidates must be able to meet all employment, vetting, licensing, training and legal-eligibility requirements applicable to the assignment.
